This locomotive was built from a Model Engineering Supplies kit and is used for passenger duties and as a general "work horse" for club duties.  Each bogie has a 750 Watt electric motor with chain drive to both axles and two 12 volt lead "traction" style acid batteries provide power via two Parkside speed controllers.  The locomotive was named after a former club chairman.
