The meeting of the day
Murray B Hofmeyer is a very clever little locomotive, who is always up for a challenge.  Like his brother Traction, he is a Railfreight red stripe Class 20.  With Traction and Dick Woodruff renowned for their positive attitude, we’ll see if Murray B Hofmeyer keeps this record up…
Traction nervously waited for Murray B Hofmeyer to arrive.  He waited with his best friend Hercules.  He rattled about on the rails, as he heard the buzz of a class 20 approach.  Traction braced himself, only to see that it was Dick Woodruff.
“I’m here to join you as I now have two Class 20 relatives!” he proudly announced.

Murray B Hofmeyer was feeling similar things to Traction.

Murray B Hofmeyer approached ever closer.  Traction squeezed his eyes so tightly that he probably broke the world record for the most pressure put on eyelids.  But, when he opened them, there stood Murray B Hofmeyer.

“Hello!” Traction spoke nervously.
“Hello!” Murray B Hofmeyer replied, him too, nervously.

Hercules watched them for a while as they got used to be being with each other.
Eventually, the conversation was terminated, when Dick Woodruff came in with a rake of three or four coaches.
“Shall we go round?” he asked. Traction and Murray B HofMeyer looked at each other, with the biggest smile anyone there had ever seen.
“Dick, Brother,” they both began, “that would be wonderful!” And off they went!

Going around into the platform, they saw a huge crowd, waiting to ride behind the “20 Trio Express”! With Murray B Hofmeyer at the front, Traction behind, and Dick Woodruff at the back, the three Class 2’s set off, for an epic adventure…

This is the last of Matthew's stories in Series Three.
