5 inch gauge Class 08 Shunter

William is the societies first junior member to have his own loco, in this case a 5" gauge Class 08 shunter which was purchased from View Models.  The loco has three electric motors, one driving each axle, and is driven from two 12 volt batteries via a Parkside speed controller.  William is currently repainting the loco into the BR "Blue" colour scheme to improve on the previous owners rather poor paint job.
