Ian purchased his Romulus named Harpford Belle from Station Road Steam in October 2010.  The loco had been built for its original owner who unfortuantely found that it was too large for his requirements, so he promptly sold it.  As a result Ian's Romulus, although second hand is actually a new locomotive.  Having done some research to trace the history of the locomotive Ian discovered that it was built by the same man who had built the Dave Curtis's Romulus "Sylvia" which has been a mainstay of the Pinewood Society's passenger hauling fleet for almost ten years.  Although Ian is now based in Chesterfield he is still a member of the society and hopes to bring the locomotive to Pinewood sometime to run it on our track.
