| Traction the class 20 is expecting a partner to haul heavy trains with. Today is the big day… |

It was the annual Family Day
on 1st July 2012, and Dick Woodruff, Thunder Hoof, Jubilee, Bridget and
Phantom where giving everyone a fantastic time! New drivers,
comfortable rides, lovely food and more. At the end of the day,
Mr. Paul got a phone call from Mr. Ian. “Hello Mr. Paul! How are you?” Mr. Ian asked. Mr. Paul said he was fine. “Listen! I’m getting a new locomotive! Another Class 20! Here are all the details…” Ruston was on the mainline, stretching his wheels after a whole season of being stuck on a shelf. “Oooh! I feel stiff! I do feel stiff indeed!” Ruston groaned. Since he was so small, he bounced in the air over the new crossing. He didn’t go high up though! “The railway looks so different to when I was last here! Amazing how memory plays tricks on you isn’t it!” He quoted. His owner, Mr. Taylor, agreed. As they pulled into the station there was an almighty crowd with Mr. Ian on Traction at the front. Ruston stopped to listen. “Everyone, please meet my new Class 20, MURRAY B HOFMEYER!” Mr. Ian cheered, as a new Rail Freight Red Stripe Class 20 came in with Dick Woodruff. “March of the Class 20’s! They make quite a team!” Ruston called out, as everybody welcomed MURRAY B HOFMEYER to the Pinewood Miniature Railway Society! After tours of the layout, and meeting new faces, it was time for MURRAY B HOFMEYER to meet his brother, Traction, and to double head as one for the first time… To find out what happens next, read part three, coming soon!
