Matthew
Quilliam is one of the youngest of Pinewood’s junior members at 11
years old,
and has been a member since October 2011. Matthew is
very keen
to learn, and many of the Pinewood members have been
approached
with searching questions about all aspects of running a miniature
railway. He has been involved in the preparation work for
the relaying of track in the bridge loop and worked with
other junior members on the construction of their Titan 7 battery
electric locomotive. Within less than five months of joining the society he
had already passed the tests to obtain his Bronze Award of the 7 1/4
inch Gauge Society
Proficiency Scheme. Away from Pinewood Matthew has
a 00 gauge layout and loves to write short stories. You can
read some of his stories about the Pinewood locomotives by clicking
on the titles below or listen to Matthew narrate the story by clicking on the relevant icon. |
